“Come Play And Let See” – Alhaji Grusah To Sulley Muntari

The arrival of Sulley Muntari into the Ghana Premier League has been the major news in the 21/22 season with attentions from all media platforms being traditional or the other.

Football loving fans have express their feelings for the midfield Dinamo.

Veteran football administrator, Alhaji Grusah has dared Hearts of Oak new signing Sulley Muntari to come and exhibit what he’s got in his return to the Ghana Premier League despite adding he doesn’t see him making any big impact.

The 2010 UEFA Champions League winner, made a sensational return into the Ghanaian topflight after being unveiled by champions Hearts of Oak last Tuesday.

The 37 year old is back in the country after spending over 20 years in Europe having featured for clubs like Inter Milan, AC Milan, Portsmouth, Udinese Calcio, Sunderland and many more.

In addition to his honours, he’s won the Italian Serie A on two occasions, the English FA Cup and the Club World Cup.

His last spell was with Spanish side Albacete where he left in 2019 and hasn’t played actively for almost three years now.

Speaking to Happy FM in Accra, the controversial football person, has disclosed the ex- Black Stars midfielder to him, won’t be capable of making any major impact for the Rainbow club until he come and prove himself. He said;

“He should come and play for us to see. As to whether if he can play for them to win the league or not we shall see. How many years now has he been playing competitively? To me he cannot really make a big impact.” He concluded

Sulley Muntari which has been reported to have picked up the number 10 shirt and is likely he will feature in the ‘Ga-Mantse’ derby against regional rivals Great Olympics.
